Speed Fab Crete, formerly known as Dave Bloxom Construction Co., was founded in 1951 by Dave Bloxom Sr., a Fort Worth resident and WWII vet.

The company pioneered precast concrete load-bearing wall panels in the 1960s, revolutionizing construction efficiency. Renamed Speed Fab-Crete in 1962, the company’s innovative approach led to rapid growth with offices across the U.S. and Mexico. Its current ownership – led by David Bloxom Jr. and Ron Hamm – have expanded operations since taking over in 1998, enhancing equipment, product lines, and facilities. Today, Speed Fab Crete boasts over 150 employees at its 15-acre manufacturing facility in Kennedale, Texas, solidifying its reputation as a top design-build general contractor and precast concrete manufacturer in Texas.
