Preconstruction
In addition to labor, materials, equipment, and logistics, there are hundreds of factors to consider before we begin building. In the period leading up to construction, our preconstruction teams work with our clients to integrate all of these components into a comprehensive construction plan that aligns with the project’s budget, schedule, and—of course—design goals. Preconstruction services include:
- Preliminary budgets, updates, and GMP
- Value Engineering constructability reviews
- Material and systems recommendations
- Scheduling with cash flow projections
- Permit expediting
Construction Management
With a proven track record of excellence spanning 70+ years, Speed Fab Crete is one of Texas’ go-to firms for construction management, known for delivering high-quality projects at very competitive prices. To ensure our projects are delivered on time and on budget, we work closely with the project’s design and engineering teams to resolve any constructability issues efficiently and effectively. We also coordinate all subcontractor activities to ensure the projects we manage uphold our clients’ high standards for quality, safety, budget, and schedule.
Construction management services include:
- Quality control
- Weekly owner reports
- Administration of testing, RFI’s, updated drawings, etc.
- Material tracking and expediting
- Financial controls with active updating
- Full-time site supervision and trade partner management
Post-Construction & 2-Year Warranty
Our experienced post-construction team ensures that all final processes are completed to the highest quality possible before turning the keys over to the building owner. We also offer a 2-year warranty for all projects in lieu of the industry-standard 1-year warranty. Our warranty covers all materials, systems, and equipment provided during the construction by Speed Fab Crete. Exclusions are owner’s equipment, owner’s subcontractors, lamps, ballasts, and abnormal wear and tear.
Post-construction services include:
- Owner’s manual with all material warranties
- Job control list with responsible parties
- General contractor 2-year warranty for work in place
- Ongoing assistance for as long as is needed
- LEED Certification if desired
